Emergency Medical Technician
Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) are required to respond to emergency and non-emergency calls to initiate appropriate action based on presenting conditions. This may include airway maintenance, suctioning, oxygen administration, CPR, assisting childbirth, care for bleeding, wounds, and shock, as well as other basic life support skills.
Paramedic
Paramedics provide advanced life support in emergency situations, which may include procedures such as intravenous therapy, intraosseous infusions, EKG monitoring and interpretation, administration of emergency medications, endotracheal intubation, needle cricothyroidotomy, cardiac defibrillation/pacing, and other advanced skills.
Wheelchair Van Driver
The Wheelchair Van Driver provides compassionate care and transport for elderly, disabled and temporarily injured individuals. The position involves door to door, bed to bed and curb to curb transport. |
